Simon has been making all sorts of interesting noises for years, most of them deliberate. He plays many orchestral wind and brass instruments. More recently he has learnt to sing and play guitar, sometimes at the same time!

Simon loves to indulge in dangerously close harmony, soupy chords and complex rhythms in arrangements. He can also be a perilous conductor. Valerie's ceiling still has the remnants of a baton that lodged there once after a vigorous up-beat.
