Every year, OVFF counts on volunteers like you to help us put on a great con.  This page contains links to the various forms we use to gather information from everyone who will be involved in providing programming events for the con.  Please use the links below to submit the information we need to get your event(s) on our schedule.
 

Hosting a Workshop

If you have agreed to host or would like to host a workshop-  please fill out THIS FORM and submit it to our programming team.  Please note that submitting this form is not a guarantee of acceptance or a slot on the schedule unless we have already been in contact with you.  This form just gets us the information we need so that we can contact you and make arrangements if we have not already done so.
 

Hosting a Theme Filk

Hosting a Special Event

If you would like to be a part of our joint CD Release party on Friday night, or host a public (on the schedule) special event please fill out THIS FORM and submit it to our programming team.  Please note that submitting this form is not a guarantee of acceptance or a slot on the schedule unless we have already been in contact with you.  This form just gets us the information we need so that we can contact you and make arrangements if we have not already done so.
 

Don’t want to host but have an idea?

If you have an idea for a workshop, theme filk, or other programming related item, or a suggestion for other improvements to our programming- please contact us HERE and submit your idea or suggestion to our programming team.  While we cannot guarantee that we will implement your suggestion or find a host for your workshop/theme filk idea, we do consider all suggestions that we receive, and have made several changes over the years in response to the ideas we get from all of you.
 

Entering our Song Contest or Iron Filker Contest
    (Opens Friday Afternoon at the Con)

If you would like to enter one or both of our song contests at the con this year, please wait until the con starts. Then, starting Friday afternoon of the con, you should fill out THIS FORM and submit it to our programming team. Sign up sheets will be available at the Con starting Friday afternoon.  If you want to enter both contests, you will need to submit this form once for each contest you enter. Please note that order of performance in both the song contest and the iron filker contest will be randomized after signups have been closed, and posted in the information areas approximately 1 hour prior to the start of each contest.
 

If you have been asked to perform in one of our official concerts

If you have been asked to perform by our programming concert liaison, please fill out THIS FORM and submit it to our programming team.  You should have been given the password when you accepted our invitation to perform.  This is meant for gathering information from our performers at scheduled concerts only-  One shots and song writing contests are handled separately.  If you would like an opportunity to get on our schedule to perform a concert for us, contact us HERE instead.
