| Alasdair was introduced to filk in his final year of university, and took to it like a henchman to henching. He became known quickly in the filk community for his occasionally amusing and sometimes off-kilter lyrics. Sadly Alasdair passed away in 2001, and few of his songs are now heard. The last song Alasdair wrote, Teach us how to grieve , for the relatives and survivors of the 9/11 attack, was posthumously awarded a Sam. | |||||||||||||
