| Mich holds filkdom responsible for drawing her into music-making! It's been quite a ride since then, as she's been GoH at the British Filk Convention and GAFilk, won 4 and 5/12 SAMS awards (and no points for maths!), and her album Just Beyond has raised over £1000 for Cancer Research UK.
Mich performs with Marilisa Valtazanou as filk-folk duo Playing Rapunzel, who have released two CDs, Abseiling for Beginners and Hanging by a Hair. When not filking, Mich works as a synagogue choir director, and at home she wrangles two small children. The children are, on the whole, easier work than the choristers. |
